[KimDaBa] Really rotate the pictures ?

Well not touching files is only half the problem, the other part is that I
don't really want to start having kimdaba depend on a 3rd party tool for
doing the actual rotation, and making such a connection optional is pretty
expensive maintainance wise.

Cheers
Jesper.

| For kimdaba 2.1, what about making an exception to Kimdaba's philosophy
| that it doesn't modify the original pictures, and really rotating the
| pictures. It's a bit ugly at the moment for interoperability with other
| software or when you burn a CD.
| And the first time you rotate the picture, a dialog window will inform you
| that it now rotates pictures, and propose to do it for pictures
| rotated according
| to index.xml
|
| The current mechanisme could still be used if Kimdaba notes that
| the partition/the picture is read-only, so that people who doesn't trust
| Kimdaba could still make all their pictures read-only.

| PS : any plan to incorporate Kimdaba in Konqueror with KDE 4.0 ?
| That would be the greatest thing ever.
