Kopete opens plasma notifications when new messages arrive an a non-focussed
chat window. In KDE 4.3.x, Kopete used to close those plasma notifications
after focussing the window.

In KDE 4.3.90 (4.4 RC1), with the new "recent messages" functionality in the
plasma notifications, the notifications are not discarded after focussing the
window but moved into recent messages. This makes it impossible to distinguish
between seen messages and those which I missed. Additionally, the Kopete
message stack grows insanely large.
