rtti for dynamic casts

So for the record, you guys are freakin amazing! Before 
 compiling I removed “-f-no-rtti” from QMAKE_CXXFLAGS 
 in qmake.conf for QT/E and “-f-no-rtti” from CXXFLAGS and 
 QTE_NORTTI in configure for KonqE. So far so good, without
 any broken pipes. Still a few things to work on, like 
 trying to shrinking it down and enabling ssl, but this was a 
 huge weight off my shoulders. Again, thanks so much.

For Qt, I think you have to go into the mkspecs/qws dir and edit the 
qmake.conf for your architecture....  There is some very good docs on 
the Qt build process in the html pages of the Qt/E source tree.
