Are you using konq-e from CVS HEAD, from the KONQE_1_0_BRANCH or from 
snapshot? The HEAD works for me, but most combinations of configuration 
options are not supported. If you send me (off the list) an error log,
I may be able to help you, since the kiosk mode turns off also the
window border. Alternatively, have a look at the file mainwindow_kiosk.cc.
I suspect that adding  WStyle_NoBorderEx to the window flags should be enough 
for you.
