How can I change the opening amount on the Reconcile screen. The amount shown is grayed out and it is not correct

Hi Mark,

If your balance starting amount is wrong, but last month's reconciled 
was ok, the most likely cause is that you have deleted a reconciled 
transaction or unmark a reconciled transaction or manually marked 
"reconciled" a transaction. So the starting balance (the value of the 
last reconcile) has been touched.
