Cannot close credit card account

  Hello Jack,  thanks for replying.

As I was typing another email to ask questions about investment
reports (stay tuned its coming!), I found the culprit.  This happened
because a schedule that had the CC account as the "recipient"
therefore it was not visible in the schedules window and I didnt see
it when I did a filter to filter out all schedules sourcing from the
CC account...

This is my mistake.  I have dozens of schedules sourcing from the CC
account but only one with CC as the recipient (and its scheduled once
per 5 years)....

Thanks again!
