Can you try copying the file to a local drive and see if you can open it there?  Also, you can try an AppImage version of KMyMoney (seehttps://kmymoney.org/appimage.html) in case your distro does not provide an updated package?

Thanks. I’m using Linux on both machines (Arch on the office computer, where things work well, and Fedora on the laptop).  Nextcloud is basically a self-hosted Dropbox, so this isn’t a shared file. It’s actually a copy on the local machine. Will try the app image, though.
