Niranjan,

Create an empty file called ofxlog.txt in your home directory.  Then,  
libofx will provide some debug/trace information in that file.  I don't  
remember what error 2000 is, but most ofx errors are very broad, and  
sometimes misleading, and you need more detailed information about the  
failure in order to debug and fix it.  Some servers are very fussy  
about what software they connect to, so you might also try different  
settings for that.  If you need to post that file, be sure to remove  
any identifying information from it (account numbers, passwords, ...)\

Also, have you looked at http://www.ofxhome.com ?  They have some  
useful information about various institutions, and a form where you  
might search for others having similar problems.
