Zed,

Both other replies are correct.  Remember, when you create a simple  
transaction, it ends up as two splits - one moving the money out of  
some account, the other moving that same money into a different  
account.  It doesn't matter whether you create the transaction in the  
credit card account (transfer TO) or the checking account (transfer  
FROM) since when you are done, that transaction will show up in both  
places.

Perhaps we can either expand the  FAQ document, or create a new  
document with a set of "HowTo" examples for typical actions.
