Hello Doug

The current version now is a wizard, and there are several steps to
provide the needed information.

1) Firstly, you select either Banking or Investment, depending upon what
you intend to import.
2) Then, in the scroll-box line-edit, you select either an existing
profile, or select Add New Profile.
3) Then you select the file you wish to import.
4) The wizard moves to the second page, showing the file and its fields.
You may need to select the appropriate field delimiter.
5) Once the fields display correctly, click Next to advance to the next
page. Here you select the appropriate Date, Description/Payee and
Amount columns you wish to import.
6) Click Next again and select the start and end lines you want to
import, plus the correct date format.
7) If your selections are valid you can again click Next to go to the
final page. Now, if you select the correct Decimal Symbol of your file,
the Amount column will be highlighted in green if all is well.
8) Now click Import and the KMM account selector should appear, followed
by the usual import stats.

It takes five steps to get to the (Payment or Deposit) selection. If
you have just an amount field, the sign governs payment or deposit. If
you have separate fields for payment and deposit, you select those at
step 5.

Perhaps if you say which step goes wrong, it will help. Alternatively,
if you could send direct to me an example of your file format with dummy
data I should be able to help.

Allan
