Everything is perfect. Could not find any mistakes.

... and we have just released 4.6.0. Does anyone know who packaged the Mint
version of KMyMoney? Does the package contain any trace (e-mail would be
fine)?

You should use that option to avoid truncating those items.

Part of that frustration is based on the fact, that QIF is a standard with
just too many flavors. But I think we can get you up to speed.

KMyMoney is triggered by the first few lines of the QIF file. Most important
is the '!Type' line. For a credit card account it should read:

!Type:CCARD

(case of those letters does not matter). What does your file have there? Does
it make a difference, if you have that line?

Yes, that is a feature.

That is, because the account is still referenced by another object (maybe a
scheduled transaction)?

That is strange, but it could well be, since you're using an older version,
that this has been fixed in the meantime.

That's good to know.

That is totally unrelated to QIF import and only applies to online downloads
using the HBCI protocol (which only exists in Germany).

The more, the better. Hopefully, we can get things to work for you pretty
soon.

Don't pull too much, that should help keeping the hair :)

If you don't get things to work, please get back to us via this list. There
are a lot more people here who have gone through this before and can guide
you. For me it is just too long ago to remember any details (9 years) and
things have certainly changed in KMyMoney since then.
