Not having KDE Wallet while still wanting to store the password is a new use-
case that I did not think of before. That's why it is not stored.

Please feel free to do that. All the stuff is in kmymoney/plugins/ofximport. I
just did a
find . -name \*.cpp | xargs grep Wallet
in that directory which gives you an idea where the code cold be found. Please
drop your patches on http://reviewboard.kde.org/.
