[Kmymoney-devel] OFX passwords

I am currently attempting to upgrade from kmymoney2 -- I have run the 
CVS head version for +- 2 years.  There are 12 OFX enabled accounts in 
the data file and I have updated them once every 24 hours for a few 
years without any issues.

Current environment is xfce running on arch64.

I recall a few messages on this list last week (or the previous?) 
announcing the change to the handling of cleartext OFX passwords.  My 
problem is the following: I do not have kwallet installed on my system 
and do not want to.

Looking at Edit Account->Online settings->Account Details it appears as 
though the intention is to allow storing cleartext passwords in the data 
file as before.  The problem is that enabling "Store password" does not 
actually appear to be persisted/handled correctly.  The password dialog 
pops up while updating each account and the value of "Store password" 
and the password itself is cleared.

Is this new feature still under development?  Or should I jump into the 
code to see if I can "fix" it?
