Well, I can always send a receipt, just like you describe below. When the foundation is active, I'll create a bank account and a paypal and flattr account and make it easy to send money. Maybe in some countries, the donation will actually be tax-deductible despite the lack of charitable status of the foundation in the Netherlands.

Yes, we could do that still, and the foundation could broker, exactly like you describe.
