krita and openexr support?

We support 16 and 32 bit float images (if that is what you mean). Layers are 
supported through Krita's own layer mechanism; I should read up on openEXR to 
see what that means in openEXR terms. Adrian Page, who coded our openEXR 
support, is on a bit of a hiatus after the rigours of almost single-handedly 
doing the initial porting of Krita to Qt4, but he should know more.

There's definitely room for someone who wants to code more support for openexr 
in Krita -- right now all Krita hackers are pretty busy, and I've sworn to do 
more on the painting side of krita after the present round of refactoring is 
done, so there's definitely a vacancy here. (There probably would be a 
vacancy even if Adrian decides he's had enough of a holiday and starts coding 
again :-).
