As long is looks like seamless component of Krita it would work -- and
it really should include single step debugging of the script, too. In
my experience, as soon as users need a separate editor and out-of-gui
knowledge to do scripting, they won't create scripts. While, when there's
an easy in-gui way to write and debug a script even non-programming users
will soon be creating scripts.
