Of course you are right. I am sure you can get used to it. I mean, it's like 
opening a new Tab in the browser clicking on a link while pressing ctrl.

Correct too. You will not always know for 100% if you will start browsing 
after having opened a file and closed konqi. But still, it will then be your 
prior decision that you will face and not the always and often annoying fact 
that there remains a window waiting to be closed.

Do you see a better way to achieve the goal?
