yes and not. this is very relative. I for sure don't want a home/root
folder in my browser sidebar. If i want to save a file (HTTP/FTP/...) i
can open the filemanager (profile) and drag-n-drop the files to there.
And in the case the user still think there is more interesting have the
home folder in the sidebar so he can add with the context menu. But i
still believe that there is space for such a discussion.

Really (If i understood you) works. It seems that the sidebar is
deleted and created again when you switch profiles, so the settings are
read again in the ctor.
i committed the patch so you can see by yourself if you want to.
