Bug #44931 - middle click behaviour: open link in new window or paste a url

May I take the action I've proposed in Comment #70 i.e. apply Per Winkvist's 
patch to make the behaviour configurable? [*]  This would increase usability 
(at least for a fair number of users) and resolve the 14th most hated bug in 
KDE.	

Please CC replies to me as I'm not subscribed or apply the patch yourself.

* I'll update the patch if neccessary since it's 2 years old.  The problem is 
that I wrote another patch a week ago before realising that someone else had 
already written one.  The code is almost the same.
