Choosing View modes

Hi kfm-devel,

We have been talking on kde-usability about the way to select a view mode in 
konqueror. Currently, we have several buttons for switching between view 
modes. An alternative would be to use a single popup button that lists all 
available modes (cf. View->View Modes submenu).

Many arguments were given for *and* against changing the current behavior, now 
we should decide which solution is the best (and therefore will be in the 
next KDE).
What's your opinion on it?
