Hm, I know what it is even without firing it up in konq: In quirks mode, the 
first <p> should not contain a top margin, so I handled it with an 
appropriate p:first-node rule in quirks.css. Your example now clearly shows 
that this approach is incomplete.

Well, we really should incorporate safari's __qem which was developed for such 
cases. Dirk, is it ok to merge safari's usage of __qem into our html4.css, or 
even better, quirks.css?
