Event filtering

Hi again,

I am trying to work again on my project

David Faure told me to use event filtering to solve my problem

but I don't know how to do this.
 In http://www.kdevelop.org/doc/kde_libref/index-4.html there are example but 
I don't know how to catch a focus event of the KHTMLPart and to react on it 
by updating my toolbar.
