I've actually started making a generic tab widget from my rewrite.  The 
transition ins't too hard, I just have to change some function names to 
ensure that it fits the old API.  I'm going to have some time this weekend to 
work on it, so hopefully I'll be able to at least put something that works up 
on my website by next week.
