Interesting. Do you see the same behavior in another KDE application
such as Kate or Dolphin? I have KDE installed on a laptop and two finger
scroll enabled. When I scroll with two fingers, the mouse movement gets
disabled. Are you using KDE?
It maybe something to do with the combination of the OS mouse drivers,
VM mouse drivers, and the mouse settings in the host OS and VM. I think
they are in conflict. If you are using KDE, you can see the touchpad
settings under Hardware->Input Devices. Try enabling/disabling scrolling
two finger or otherwise. I am not sure about other DEs such as GNOME,
but there is probably a similar mouse setting app.
