Hi
I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit and can compile and run kdevelop 4.3. I've
found this in my apt sources:
http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/backports/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages
Caution: I'm using 4.3 because some package broke my 4.1 installation.
kdevelop 4.3 is nice, BUT I'm constantly running into this bug
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=288186
where kdevelop 4.3 crashes every now and then when starting a build. I
understand the devs, that my system is ancient and I cant reproduce it
every time. I'm looking forward to getting ubuntu 12.04 on my machine in a
near future and hope this problem is then history.
@All: Keep up the good work - I've tested many IDE's, but kdevelop is
simply the best (_Fortran_ and C++ development :-))) ), even with the
above mentioned quirk.
/Peter
