User defined GDB Functions

Hi all,

  i'd love to integrate some user defined gdb functions in the kdevelop's gdb 
shell. how do i do that? namely i found a small collection of scripts that 
are supposed to ease the debugging process of stl stuff (see: 
http://www.stanford.edu/~afn/gdb_stl_utils/ ). I can use them when starting 
gdb from a regular terminal but for some reason those user defined functions 
are not available in kdevelop's gdb shell. 
does anybody why?
besides that wouldn't a convenient stl support in kdevelop's integrated gdb 
interface be a cool feature anyway?
