undefined reference when trying KMDI tutorial

Actually I've tried both the KMDI tutorial 
http://kdevelop.org/3.0/doc/kmditutorial and the snippets in 
http://developer.kde.org/documentation/library/3.4-api/kmdi/html/classKMdiMainFrm.html
