if you want KDE 3.0.x compatibility, you have to fork the existing code. There 
are talks that QextMDI (now renamed to KMDI) will be moved to kdelibs, if 
that happens, we'll add IDEAl to KMDI and you'll get it for free together 
with the other modes.
