Copy and paste problem

Hi,
probably a stupid question, but since I'm using KDevelop 2.0.1, I have the
following problem:
Whenever I try to copy something from the Qt docs to my code, all spaces in
the code are interpreted as character "0240".
E.g. I copy
QCheckListItem (QListView * parent, const QString & text, const QPixmap & ) 
then I have to delete/replace all spaces, otherwise I get the error message
parse error before character 0240.
Can someone tell, how to solve this problem?
