Hi Pupeno,
it's allways good to have people ready to invest in Linux/KDE apps :-))
Have you ever thought about contacting one of those people who develop this
stuff for Windows? They have all the databases on their CDs and here in
Europe they are very detailled and uptodate. They are kept uptodate because
they are used in our GPS navigationsystems in our cars.
I my opinion this would be the biggest part of your project. If you win one
of those people to support a Linux version things would be much easyer and
quicker.
