There's an application named KMySQL, now it changed it's name, I think to 
KSQL, it works with plugins and it can be connected to MySQL, mSQL and 
postgrees servers, have you seen it ?
I don't know if it has all you want, but I think that instead of starting a 
new project is better to help with an available project (is better to have 
one working application than 5 alpha application and 4 projects).
