Hi David!

I definitely agree with you about the status of projects you counted. It 
would be great if you could do something here.

My suggestion is to use the ODBC-Interface to PostgreSQL so more people could 
benifit from your work.
Have you had a look at the "datawidget" project?
It is a QTbased project and offers a DBgrid-widget and many classes for 
database access. It is based on ODBC and looks really good to me. (I haven't 
had the time yet to look really deep into the project)
