I downloaded you latest snpshot of KDevelop. Have small problem here and
thought you all might depart some wisedom.
Followed instructions to the part ./configure, as root, and got the following
output:
[root at RSivernell kdevelop]# . ./configure
loading cache ./config.cache
checking host system type... admin/config.guess: ./dummy-5509: Permission
denied
admin/config.guess: ./dummy-5509: Permission denied

The version of this script cannot recognize your system type.
Please download the most up to date version of the config scripts:
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/config/
If the version you run (admin/config.guess) is already up to date, please
send the following data and any information you think might be
pertinent to <config-patches at gnu.org> in order to provide the needed
information to handle your system.
config.guess version =
uname -m = i686
uname -r = 2.2.14
uname -s = Linux
uname -v = #1 SMP Thu Feb 17 11:49:42 MST 2000
/usr/bin/uname -p =
/bin/uname -X =
hostinfo =
/bin/universe =
/usr/bin/arch -k =
/bin/arch = i686
/usr/bin/oslevel =
/usr/convex/getsysinfo =
UNAME_MACHINE = i686

UNAME_SYSTEM = Linux
UNAME_VERSION = #1 SMP Thu Feb 17 11:49:42 MST 2000
configure: error: can not guess host type; you must specify one
I am not sure what it is asking for, host type is that Host name of machine

Thanks in advance for your help.
