Wizard can't find makefiles with console apps

Hi,

I've only just started to use kdevelop recently and I wonder if anyone 
could put me on the right track? Using the App Wizard i can successfully 
create the more complex base apps, but when I try to create a simple 
terminal console using the wizard I just get the following error report:

./aclocal.m4:2181: error: m4_defn: undefined macro: _m4_divert_diversion
acfunctions.m4:1108: AM_FUNC_OBSTACK is expanded from...
./aclocal.m4:2181: the top level
autoconf: tracing failed
make: *** [all] Error 1
sh: ./configure: No such file or directory

On leaving the WizardI then get a dialogue box informing me that there 
is no makefile created.
