Please Advise with compiler

Hi, Everyone

I downloaded KDE 2 days ago. 

Curently I'm using CodeFusion, but it is verry hard to debug multi-threaded
programs, I hope it will be better with KDE.

Please help me with these subjects:

1. When should I declare path to my Include directory(s)?
2. How should I specify that the project is not executable - it will be
shared library (like DLL in Win32)?
