KDevelop on FreeBSD - building FreeBSD ports

I'm very sorry I don't have a deep knowledge in Linux/FreeBSD
development, but what is exactly we have to do for porting the KDK or
KDevelop to FreeBSD? Do we have to modify a bit the source code to match
the libraries?
