configure error: system fails at linking small kde app

No, it most certainly is not. I've been going on about this issue since 
kdevelop 0.0.0 !!! I've never 'solved' it, but I do know work arounds. But 
since all my previous e-mails resulted in me being flamed I shan't bother 
repeating them.
