On Norwegian keyboards the Æ key is the key where ; and : are situated
on American keyboards. Ø is where ' and " are found, and most annyoingly
Å is taking the place of [ and { which moves those under 7890 on a
Norwegian keyboard, making it impossible to use touch to program, hence
we use American keyboards at work.

(On the Amiga, you could use left- (and right-) amiga to get [ and
left-amiga+shift to get { and likewise for ] and }, thus you could
program in touch and keep your Norwegian characters.

I just map Æ Ø Å to F6 through F8, and curse whoever is in charge for
the bastardised norwegian keyboards being sold with current computers;
as well as the fact that under windows you have to use Alt-gr _which is
only on the WRONG side_ of the keyboard for touch typists like myself.

Why the fuck doesn't that ever get through?????
