kdesdk with RH6.1

Hi,

I am having trouble getting the kdesdk tar file compiled under RH6.1.
Firstly RH6.1 automatically installs qt-2.0 and qt-devel-2.0 rpms (as
well as qt-1.44 & qt-devel-1.44 rpms).  I removed the qt-2.0 &
qt-dev-2.0 rpms leaving qt-1.44 & qt-devel-1.44, but now the kdesdk
check reports problems with the kdelib header files.  Any suggestions ?
