KDevelop with Qt2.x and Qt1.44

Hi,
at the moment I´m using KDevelop1.0beta4 with Qt1.44 and Qt2.1.
(with Qt2.1 I can only build  and run QApplications).
Is it possible to rebuild the kdelibs (with Qt2.1) and to install them parallel to my old
kdelibs(the kdelibs are linked with Qt, or am I wrong?)
The result should be, that I´m able to build and run KDE Applications using Qt2.1. 
Did anyone try this, or is it just a waste of time to think about it?
