Ahh good.  This still provides that for *most* plugins.  

The default will be for the plugin to launch any processes configured with the 
currently set environment as displayed in the environment config widget.  Any 
special plugins can of course interact with this widget and add new shells 
and specify a mandatory shell or what have you.

Best of both worlds.
