BECAUSE SIMPLE IS BROKEN! At least, it plays poorly with the 'bluecurve'
style. :-)
Until this is fixed (http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=132460), I for
one will be VERY annoyed if good-ol'-not-broken-for-me ideal goes away.

Nope, only problem I've noticed is the left and bottom dock areas can't
make up their minds which one goes inside the other.
