Subject: locolor icons missing
From: aaronw at net.com

Package: kdevelop
Version: KDE 2.1.0
Severity: normal
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: sparc gcc 2.95.2
OS: Solaris
OS/Compiler notes: sparc Solaris 2.7

It appears that many of the locolor icons are either missing or not working. I am seeing this in many applications, but the worst by far is kdevelop. None of the toolbar icons appear when running on a system with 8-bit color. I do not see this problem on another system with 24-bit color.

This goes beyond just kdevelop. I also see this with konqueror, kicker, and other tools.
