Where do I set the "global default" for composing mails in HTML or plaintext?

I also can not find it (should be in Configure Kmail > "Opsteller" (this is 
Dutch) > General IMO).

But I always use plain text. I can't even remember it ever was different 
(since KDE 3) and would not know how to switch to HTML (like you but the other 
way around).
