It can be constructive, but often is not. Once you get signals it is
not—like you have now gotten—some self-reflection on one's tone may be
useful. (You can see this reply as an extra signal.) While I know you also
contribute constructively to KDE, your posts here are almost always
negative, often joining a thread just to reiterate your apparent general
displeasure with the state of KDEPIM. Please, at the very least start a new
thread if you wish to vent your frustration and don't hijack others'. (I
apologize for my contribution to hijacking this thread.)

In case of divergence yes, but please do not presume you present the
majority view. Many, like me, have standard, relatively up-to-date
installations of KDEPIM that perform without major issues. In my experience
there is no divergence for the majority.

A couple of years ago, I had some issues, but those got dealt with thanks
to advice from people like Martin and Dan. You judge that Martin, one of
the most helpful people here ‘take[s] things personally a bit too quickly’,
not taking any of the blame for him leaving and apparently not drawing
conclusions about your tone. Will you take up his role? Will you send him
an apology for the repeated negative remarks you aimed in his general
direction? Those were never constructive.

Sincerely,

Erik
