[kdepim-users] akonadi vcarddir resource won't delete

Hmm. Here deletion of the additional vcarddir resource through 
KAddressBook worked.

Try removing the Akonadi resource using the Akonadi Configuration. You 
can start it either with "Run Command..." (Alt+F2; if you enter Akonadi 
then "Akonadi Configuration" should be listed). Alternatively, start it 
with the command
  kcmshell4 kcm_akonadi
