I got the error while working on the box that is the imap server. I then
immediately turned to the client box and used the icon to request a check of
the mail. Nothing happened. Then I did a ctrl-l, immediately, and the
calendar and contacts began to download. At the end of it the number of
entries in the folders matched the ones on the server, and the calendar and
addressbook displayed perfectly.

Soon after I wrote the other message I had to go out, so I created a test
entry on the calendar for 3pm with an reminder set. When I got back, a few
minutes ago, I went straight out to the client box and fired it up. I asked
for a check of the mail and it said two new messages - both were in inbox.
There was no change to the calendar. I then did ctrl-l, but this time the
calendar did not update. Now there is one more entry in the calendar folder
on the server box than in the calendar folder on the client box.
