Rendering options for uploading recorded screen video to Vimeo

I've downloaded the latest appimage and I'm now running that. I've also 
unchecked the 'parallel processing' (experimental) option in rendering. 
I can't see these making a difference as the mp4 played fine before on 
my PC, so my feeling is it's not a kdenlive issue. It uploads to Vimeo, 
but then reports an error.
