[kdenlive] Language problem

I just installed KDenlive on 2 "french" computers

  * a kubuntu 15.10, which received a french 15.08.1
  * a mint.2 rafaela (based on ubuntu 14.04) which receives an english
    0.9.8 (Unfortunately *ppa:sunab/kdenlive-release can't be installed
    since it requires KDE5)*

About the language the 0.9.8 doesn't propose french, although 
kde-l10n-fr is installed
