[Kdenlive-devel] kdenlive really usable?

sorry for the silly question, but I tryed Kdenlive some 
month ago and it was not at all usable on a regular basis.

I follow the list till then and through the comments, it 
seems that kdenlive have greatly enhanced (nice :-).

So is it now possible to use it for day to day use? is there 
a static or at least a precompiled version? (at that time, I 
had to recompile all the libraries and this was pretty long)
